MND NSW helps over 500 people living with MND, many requiring high levels of support and assistance.
We’re raising funds to help MND NSW provide the best possible support for people living with MND and their families – including assistive equipment, support groups, education about MND and more.

Shaving my head to raise money for MND
Sunday 14th Apr I"M SHAVING MY HEAD FOR CHARITY. 17th May the curls will be cropped, gone, vanquished.Anybody who has ever known me would know I usually have a mop of curly hair. A co-worker and I have decided to shave our heads to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease NSW.
Motor neurone disease is a terminal, rapidly progressive neurological disease that is devasting to those who are diagnosed and their loved ones. Something that has touched my life both personally and professionally.
Daily we see first-hand the impact MND has on those touched by the disease. The fear and frustration but I also feel so inspired by the love, compassion, care and resilience of these amazing people.
Motor Neurone Disease NSW will use the funds to help provide support groups, carers programs, young carers programs and education programs for those diagnosed, their families, carers and healthcare providers. We also have an equipment library that can be accessed at all stages of the disease. Funds will also contribute to research which currently provides a better understanding of MND and one day hopefully a cure.
