In loving memory of Sue Taylor

By The Little Teapot

By supporting our Drink Tea for MND event, you are helping us support MND NSW and people living with motor neurone disease.

Every day two Australians are diagnosed with motor neurone disease. There is currently no cure.

MND NSW provides support, equipment, and information and education to people living with MND, their families and healthcare professionals throughout NSW, the ACT and NT.

Your support is vital, so they can continue to be there for people living with motor neurone disease at every stage of their MND journey.

In loving memory of Sue Taylor - Drink Tea for MND morning tea

Saturday 31st Jan

Sue Taylor started The Little Teapot in 2006 and quickly became much more than a business owner she became part of our family and a treasured member of our community. Sue was known for her warmth, her quiet kindness, and her genuine care for everyone who walked through our doors.

Sadly, we recently lost Sue to Motor Neurone Disease (MND). MND is a progressive neurological condition that affects the nerves controlling movement, gradually taking away the ability to walk, talk, eat and breathe. It is a devastating disease for those diagnosed and their families, and there is currently no cure.

In Sue’s memory, The Little Teapot is hosting a High Tea Morning Tea Fundraiser on Wednesday 17th June, with raffles and other activities to raise awareness and vital funds for MND research.

This event is about more than fundraising—it is about celebrating Sue’s life, her contribution to our café, and her place in our community. It is a chance for friends, customers, and locals to gather, share stories, and support a cause that urgently needs funding and attention.

We invite you to join us for a beautiful morning of high tea, community and remembrance. Your support will help keep Sue’s legacy alive and contribute to the search for a cure.

Together, we can make a difference.
