Steven and I are joining some friends on a 135km walk across the UK fundraising for MND research. We are leaving outback NSW and lovely spring weather for the cold and often wet north of England. We must be a little crazy, but we like to challenge ourselves and make a difference.
Every day two Australians are diagnosed with motor neurone disease. There is currently no cure.
A wise person once sent me a token rock with "A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step". That is the challenge MND research faces.
MND NSW provides support, equipment, and information and education to people living with MND, their families and healthcare professionals throughout NSW, the ACT and NT.
Your support is vital, so they can continue to be there for people living with motor neurone disease at every stage of their MND journey.
