Why I'm Taking Part
Lake Cathie Bonny Hills Junior Rugby committee, players and parents are braving the chill and taking part in the Ice Bucket Challenge to support people facing motor neurone disease.
Right now, there are over 500 people in NSW living with MND, with many requiring high levels of support and assistance.
10 years ago, the Ice Bucket Challenge swept the globe, raising awareness about MND/ALS, and the impact this condition has on those diagnosed with it. Unfortunately, even a decade later there is still no cure for motor neurone disease, and those living with MND face immense challenges each and every day.
Our goal is to raise funds to help MND NSW provide the best possible support for people living with MND and their families – including assistive equipment, support groups, education about MND and more.
But we need your help. Please sponsor our Ice Bucket Challenge to help change lives.
To support LakeCathieBonnyHillsJRLFC, click the ‘DONATE NOW’ button to make a donation and together we can help the people and families experiencing this devastating disease.
Thank you so much for your support.
