Why I'm Taking Part
In memory of my dad, who passed away five years ago, I'm taking part in the Ice Bucket Challenge. While there’s still no cure for MND, I’m hoping that through donations and more people participating, we can help find one. I’m braving the cold to raise awareness and support those living with motor neurone disease (MND).
Currently, over 500 people in NSW are living with MND, many of whom need significant support and assistance.
Ten years ago, the Ice Bucket Challenge went viral, raising global awareness about MND/ALS and the challenges faced by those diagnosed with it. Sadly, even a decade later, there is still no cure, and those affected continue to face tremendous daily struggles.
My goal is to raise funds for MND NSW, so they can provide vital support to those living with MND and their families—offering assistive equipment, support groups, education, and more.
But I can’t do it alone. Please sponsor my Ice Bucket Challenge and help change lives.
To donate, simply click the ‘DONATE NOW’ button. Together, we can make a real difference for those affected by this devastating disease.
Thank you so much for your support.
