Team Mopar Australia has pledged to donate $2,500 to MND NSW for every week drag racing legend Lee Bektash's 200mph record remains unbroken throughout the 2026 National Drag Racing Championships.
Lee became the Australian Pro Stock recordholder in 2014 with a speed of 200.14 in a time of 6.877 seconds - a tough one to beat!
Every day two Australians are diagnosed with motor neurone disease. There is currently no cure. Sadly, Lee's good friend and fellow drag racer Mick, passed away from MND in 2023.
MND NSW provides support, equipment, and information and education to people living with MND, their families and healthcare professionals throughout NSW, the ACT and NT.
